The red room theatre

Dream:

I'm in an acting company rehearsing for our new play.
We assemble the stage and seating area where we are going to perform. It a small antique modular building called the red room. The red room has raised theater seating and curtains and a proscenium but it is in miniature, and all folds up like a pop up trailer to go along when the show's over.
I'm in the leading role in this performance and I'm done up like an elderly Victorian lady. I'm working with someone who does the wiring to get some of the lamps on the stage to work.

In no particular order, here are some of the symbols/ items from recent dreams.

Giant - young kinda homely guy about 7' tall with frizzy hair wearing a button down shirt. He was walking into a convenience store. He drove an old tanker truck.

Bike - handlebars were stolen; so was skateboard

House - Big multilevel place maybe built into a hillside; about five unused stories. Top floors are empty creepy bedrooms. All the action and furnishings are on the next to lowest level which has a big backyard. There's a party going on, random dudes milling about.

Two Wolfhounds - along with my Poogle I had two huge serious silver dogs.

Everyone gets two Freebies

This falls under the broad category of ' I'm not in charge of the world but what if I were'....

Everyone gets to kill any two people they want - for free - no criminal repercussions at all,
Please, think this through with me, okay?

If limited murder was legal; It would lead to a reduction in violent crime. It would be a strong deterrent against heinous damaging crimes like sexual and domestic abuse.
It would discourage social misbehaviors large and small; from road rage to Ponzi schemes.. Someone might just decide to use his 'freebie' because you let your dog crap on his lawn. Wouldn't that be a shame?
The Revenge Factor
Revenge, vengeance, vendettas, vigilantism, gettin' some satisfaction. Paybacks are a bitch
This is a deep rooted passionate human ethos.
It is part of who we are and how we have evolved.
Don't kill anyone, ever; turn the other cheek; forgive. This is a lie, a repressive social lie disguised as a commandment from god.
{It does not keep the people in power from killing whomever and as many as they want}
Sometimes it's all right to kill. Sometimes you got to fight when you're a man.

There's gonna be a bloody melee at first.
Most of the wrongdoers, vengeance-minded and the sort to carry a grudge will kill each other off early. Prisons will empty themselves out. Police detectives will have fewer crime investigations and unsolved cases "yeah, it was me, I killed the sonofabitch and let me tell you why..."
The remaining majority of people will be less likely to start trouble in the first place. This will result in natural selection favoring people who are not assholes.

The truly meek and benevolent could save their freebies for assisted suicide for the terminal and suffering if they wanted, or not use them at all.
These freebies are not transferable. You get your two, and that's it. If you go over your allowance, it becomes a criminal matter punishable in one of the ways we already employ.

There are way too many goddamn people shitting up this planet, dying of diseases and killing each other anyway. Think of the two freebies as an induction phase, a jump start toward a sustainable civil population.
The end result would be fewer people, making a sincerely motivated effort to be nice.

Blue

I finished the old year with a good deed and a new friend.

I am blue often.
When I am able to accept my flaws, i will turn them into shining things that other people will wish they had.

I will love myself fiercely, completely as I love/hate everything around me. It is time to draw more of that energy into my life. {passion}

I have lost a lot of good days comparing myself to others, trying to compete with what I am not.
My goal this cycle is to quit compromising and be me. There may be some killing involved.

I started the new year with a cup of coffee; my feet in the ocean; the dogs running around.
